December 28th,

Just playing around here with a few different things.

THis is the Christmas gift for my mother in law - Had to use my Gingerbread wheele stamp and matching sizzix die cut that I HAD to have but didn't use :)

Nothing too fancy, I used a glitter Glue on all the hearts to help it stand out a little more :) My kids love it and are waiting for me to wrap more gifts so we can use my stars and more gingerbread wheels :)

Next we have My kid's Teacher gifts. Just bearly finished these.
I found the Template for the calender on SCS - I'm going to be using it a few different ways but this is how I used it for the Teachers Gifts.

I just took a regular note book binder with clear pockets in it. Let the kids pick out the colored paper and printed their teacher's names on the computer. No stamps, no embelishments. What you see is what you get :) I inserted tabs and paper inside each binder and THINKING about making a matching RSVP pen - maybe bead it for the female teachers, and just put matching paper or something in my son's male teachers pen.

I made this Bandaid box ... about 2 or 3 weeks ago - I bought the bandaid boxes at Robert's Craft Store for like 69 cents a piece. Every time I go back they don't have any :( So I gave up trying to make these for neighbors/friends.

BUT I still think it was cute and next time I see these little things again I'll stock up. I just used regular sticky strip tape to hold the paper closed. I used the stamp "happy Holidays" from my Favorite Teddybear SU! Stamp set - and the mini tag "just for you" stamp.. not sure where I got that from. I think it was one from Walmart a few Christmas's ago.

I CASED this idea off of SCS awhile ago - Thought it was really cute.

Bad picture sorry,
THis is a NON-SU! Stamp - I think I got it at the dollar store a few years ago, but it was fun and SO easy to make! Was THINKING if I have time to make them for my daughter's Christmas party at her pre-school I just might do that. We'll see how tomorrow goes as far as Crafty Jen's stuff :)

I have 4 cans of Pinapple we're going to eat tonight so I can make my Pop Top Cans tomorrow - I'll fill those with Candy and have the teacher's names on all of those. I'll post pictures tomorrow or Wednesday after I have them finished.
Their last day of school is Wednesday so everything needs to be finished by tomorrow YIKES!

Christmas Cards

This is my first time making an accordian card so don't laugh :)

This is the front of my Christmas card

I used Snowflake Spots and heat embossed them with silver

I punched out a white tag and punched out a smaller blue and stmaped joy. Tied it around with a white sheer ribon to hold the accordian card closed.

And open it up and see all the people :)
these are my kids.
I embossed the snowflakes inside and used their pictures and name and age on top.
Thought it was pretty cute
On the back of the card says "from our family to yours, Merry Chrsitmas" - just a stamp I bought at Robert's craft store. But it was embossed as well.

Then I just made a Chrsitmas card. The Accordian card was just for my parents and in laws - we only got so many pictures - wish my printer wasn't out of colored ink :(
Actually might have looked cute in black and white now that I think about it - hummmmm
OH WELL Done is done -
This is just the front of the card - heat embossed with same design, Stamped "warm winter wishes" inside which came with my Holiday Wishes SU stamps that I HAD to have and didn't use this year :(

So for family and friends they just got the regular card - which looks just like the front of the accordian card but bigger :)

Stamp Camp November 2006

I have using SU! Products for... probably about 6 months now.
I'm not a demenstrator, I found Jamie through the www when I first heard about the SU! stamp products.
I met her at Artic Circle to work out details for my first SU! Party. Boy was that fun!
Not a lot of people showed up, but the right people did show up - and we had a blast.
The next SU! Party we had at my mother in law's house. Closer to my sister in law and we wanted to include her in the party - Along with all the neighbors over there. That was a big hit.
We had another party over there just at the end of November - I'll post pictures of those Christmas cards we made after the Stamp Camp Stuff :)

Ok ON TO STAMP CAMP!!!!!!

SU Stamp camp was a lot of fun, we made some really cute things.I took my daughter and a friend with me.

First picture was our Gift boxes. used SU! Snowflake Spots. I loved it so much I bought the stamp set :)
It was a HUGE hit at our Stampin' Up Party the following week :)

Next we made a 3X3 card holder that opened up and held 3 Different 3X3 cards

Then I used the Wheel for the first time - sad to say it was also my first time using the crimper (shhh)

We made these really cute CD holders -
My daughter had a blast with the Wheel, I ended up buying the gingerbread man wheel for Christmas :)

FINALLY we made our way to the last table and made a really cute Gift bag and matching card -

Using heat embossing on the outer part of the tree - Not my first time with the heat embossing but it was my daughters, she'll be 8 on Jan 1st - so most of the stuff she did that day was a first for her.
my mother in law bought this set at our SU! Party
I copied the card and made a few extra cards for Christmas:)

AND THAT was the end of Stamp camp. Because my daughter is young I had to stop to help her a lot. We went in the morning session - I think it was 10 am til 1 pm. then the next session started at 2:00 - we left there about 1:45 - My SU Demenstrator was really sweet about staying around and helping us get everything stamped out so we could take it home to assemble.
